The intent of the access study for Roosevelt Island is to develop a community-based, comprehensive plan that takes into consideration the current and projected demographic and social characteristics. Special attention will be paid to issues related to public transportation and the distance or time needed to access various services by numerous modes of transportation, such as driving, walking and biking.
